I think I’m out, too. 
My son has been sick since Sunday night (a fever for finals, yay!) and this morning I woke up to a sore throat and lungs that don’t want to work right. Unless anyone’s got a special hankering for an upper respiratory bug…yeah, thought so.
Even if I can get into the doc’s tomorrow, he’s not likely to culture it but throw me some antibiotics regardless so I’d still be Typhoid Mary by Saturday.
Ok. I was just at Grizzly Peak. Here’s my intelligence:
The bar was crowded but the backroom was empty. There are two absolutely perfect areas. One has a private executive-like table sectioned off in the corner for our secret society meeting - seating 10. The other is more near the front with groups of tables seating 20, with room for more. And there are Moose heads! Yes. MOOSE HEADS in the backroom!!!
Excellent. Great to hear the scouting report. If there are moose heads, we’re all but guaranteed a successful night.

Damn my protestant work ethic! You guys undoubtedly had more fun than I had at work (although there were home-made cupcakes in the breakroom, a small consolation.) I’ll bet you didn’t have cupcakes, so don’t be all gloaty on my ass.
No, no. We didn’t have cupcakes. But we DID have coffee and an assorted choice of baked goodness at a coffee shop.

I had to work a half day on Saturday on my Boston trip (in fact I’m at work again now ). But I did take time to go to the Boston Museum of Science and got to see a complete stuffed Moose, not just a head shakes fist back . . . but it just wasn’t the same. I tried to console myself by going to the Bull and Fintch pub (Cheers) and having a beer, but no one there knew my name
