Oh ********
Break this door down here. I’m going back to check back down the passage way and see how cut off we are.

Deor will push forward, trying to stay just behind the fighters. Gas doesn’t care how brave you are!
Hraedsig tries to break down the door but it fails. Thoroncir tries and he fails. Bitur breaks out his trusty prybar and Gwaelur begins chopping at the door where he guesses the hinges are.
Deor is ready with a knock if things get dangerous.
Ghân races to the grinding sound with Mulligan and Gil-Gandel close behind. Ghân finds a gate that is already down. He Stone shapes the floor away so the gate can easily be pulled down further and pulled or pushed.
Elfstan and Brin head back for the door.
The door is splintering nicely and so far no sign of gas.
As Ghân has given us some leverage, I will do what I can with this gate. Any help would be welcome.
Ghân has both another Stone Shape and a Neutralise Poison ready.
Shouldn’t we all work and stay together?
We don’t want some enemy appearing between us…
Now that the back gate is neutralized and the risk of gas is lessened (good job!), why don’t you all join back up with us at the farther-along gate?
What is it with me and doors today?!?
Heavy door blocked by a bar and whatever else the Goblins quickly added? I wouldn’t sweat it.
Of course, but it was more important not to be cornered, which was a greater risk on the evidence available.
Besides, if an enemy appeared between us, we would have it surrounded.
So Ghan, Gil-Gandel and Mulligan are going to try to deal with the back gate while everyone else smashes the door in the middle.
Seeing as this door is now movable, why not toot your trumpet at the dwarves and get them to come and move it while the rest of us take out the door and orcs or goblins around here?
Just to be clear, we’ve gone down a passageway and a gate has fallen behind us (which Ghân has partly opened). Meanwhile an advance guard is bashing down a door to make forward progress.
How do the dwarves in the main cavern reach us?
No sweat. I should have put that in quotes - just a little comic relief from your friendly neighborhood horseman.
If it’s any consolation, Bitur will be happy to let you open the door for us once the crowbar finishes it’s job.
Waiting to see what they do at the gate.
In the meantime, the door is in bad shape. A solid blow could knock it in now but on the otherside, the goblins have had about 3 rounds to prepare.
The gate is now insecure thanks to your spell, so a bunch of dwarves working as a team should be able to wreck it. I’ll blow the horn for a rendezvous, and then we’d better rejoin the party at the door. Once the dwarves are through the gate they will be able to catch up; meanwhile it will be a poor look-out if we can’t outfight quite a lot of goblins in a confined space.
Takes out Glinras and passes the signal.
Much appreciated.
Ghân apologises for his pessimism, but being underground and missing his animal friends is hard for him.
I say we form up the shield wall and bust that sucker in before the gas starts flowing!
Gwaelur looks as Hraedsig and nods and steps next to him to prepare to knock down the door.
Thoroncir stays out of the Dwarves’ way but is close behind them, sword drawn, ready for whatever might lie on the other side of the door.
Yes - it is far from Eryd Lasgalen too. But we must both endure as best we can for the sake of our friends.
Back to see how they are getting on at the door, if they are not all gassed.
