I feel so bad for the people victimized by that storm and especially for the families that suffered the tragic loss of loved ones. I guess there is no longer a clearly defined “season” for tornadoes. The horror can happen year round.
I’m fine. Antioch didn’t get hit with anything more than wind and rain. My bonus- sister, however, lost everything on her property with the touchdown in Dickson County.
Good to hear. TruePisces, I don’t know why I had it in my head that you were in Mt Juliet.
Slightly amusing story. My middle son, Spike , was out with Mrs Magill Saturday afternoon. He called me to ask if I would retrieve a package from our front door neighbor’s house (he is best friends with their son). I grabbed the umbrella, thinking it was overkill, as it was just sprinkling. By the time I had gotten across the street, it was coming down in buckets, and I could barely see ten feet in front of me. I made it back to our house. My socks were soaked. I’m standing on my front porch shaking off the umbrella and smacked the railing. At the exact same time everything turned bright white and then went totally dark. I had obviously snagged the Christmas lights and shorted everything out.
No sooner than I thought that, a massive thunder crack sounded, and the lights turned back on.
That was the worst Nolensville got. Squeaky, our youngest was pulling meatballs out of the oven when the brown out occurred. He was trying to figure out what he had done to cause it, too.
