I need a job in Canada so that I can migrate there with my family. Can anyone help? Sponsorship will be greatly appreciated.
I’m dying to see if this strategy works.
Dumb question, but don’t you have it backwards? Get a job offer first, and then you have a bunch of corporate lawyers and paralegals backing you up on the paperwork.
DPRK, no need for insults.
I don’t see an insult there. I’ve employed many immigrants to Canada on visas, but they have always applied for a job in order to get one.
Do you meet the requirements on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english?
Apologies if I misunderstood your situation. I meant that to immigrate to Canada as a skilled worker, you need a full-time job offer, in writing, for at least a year, and in that case your employer will be in a position to advise you on obtaining a permanent resident visa.
If you are at the stage of looking for a job, it is hard to give advice since you have given no indication what it is you want to do. This matters because your Occupational Classification may make a difference- it’s not necessarily sufficient to apply for a visa with a random job offer.

Welcome to the SDMB, Olufissy.
Generally we do not permit solicitations here (for sponsership or other things), though sometimes we make exceptions for established members if they ask first.
Rather than close this, I will move it to our IMHO forum for you so that folks can give you advice and opinions on how to proceed.
Moving thread from GQ to IMHO.
To my knowledge, there are only two sponsoring programs to come to Canada. One is for direct family, that obviously won’t apply unless you already have immediate family in Canada. The other option is to be a sponsored refugee; however, to be privately sponsored you have to go through the process to become a UN recognized refugee.
Your other option is to immigrant normally, which as already mentioned almost always requires you to have a job first.
I don’t really know your situation but if you qualify for refugee status I would suggest starting that process. I wish you the best of luck.
Thanks all, for your great advice.
I will work on those links.
Admin, I apologize.
Apology accepted.
I understand.
Mine is a normal situation but I’ve been going through immigration agents in my country, all efforts were abortive. That’s why I wanted to meet real people who could help. I’m a graduate with 10 years Administrative experience. But things are not so easy here. Thanks anyways.
I will gladly take you up on that offer sir.
