Mike's hard lemonade with vodka?

Would mixing Mike’s Hard Lemonade with Vodka be good? would it work or no?

I fail to see why it wouldn’t work.

Of course, I don’t suggest YOU attempt to work after consuming significant amounts of that mix.

I think that would be fine. I haven’t had Mike’s lemonade but I often have an Ice Pick - vodka and iced tea.

As a big Mike’s fan, I ask why would you even WANT to?

Because I like Vodka, not straight but I like to mix it in with other stuff.

I wouldn’t consider Mike’s a mixer. I think it’s a terrible idea. But hey - it wont hurt to try it - at worst you’ve ruined a drink. At best you might like it.

I’ve done it, just to get rid of a couple bottles of Mike’s leftover from a BBQ. Meh. Just make some regular lemonade (even from concentrate, or this stuff) and spike it a bit.

Unless, of course, you can carpool to work, with someone else driving.

Put me down as someone who actually enjoys a Mike’s Hard Lemonade with an added shot of vodka, over ice, with a slice of lemon. It’s very refreshing on a hot summer day.

I think this may be best suited to Cafe Society. Cheers!

The original Mike’s Hard Lemonade in Canada is vodka based. Everywhere else it’s a malt liquor based drink.
I don’t know what the concensus on mixing malt liquors with vodka is?

I think that most of the people who mix malt liquor and vodka only have internet access at the local library and are unlikey to be SDMB members.

I would guess the consensus would be “Why?” I agree with Elemenopy’s suggestion to simply mix the vodka into regular lemonade. Add more vodka if you need to get drunker faster.
