I don’t understand that quotation. A lazy swimmer would swim WITH the current.
Speaking as someone who has of necessity swum against the current (I’m being literal, not metaphorical here), it’s difficult.
Bad bad bad place for it. Should be where you can see and reference it. And even if you, like many here, have your head up your ass a lot of the time, you’re not seeing what is tattooed on it.
There are a fair number of intelligent posters here more often than not posting intelligent things. Some of whom I even feel I “know” to some value of that word. But no one here whose negative opinion of me would matter all that much? My sense of self is not so easily threatened … and playing here is just that, one of the things I do for play.
Yet anyone’s criticism of me, here or IRL, is worth considering. Maybe dismissing after consideration, probably, but still considering it. Even if the person is an asshole or an idiot. Crap I’d even consider criticism coming from Chela! 
Beck, please consider this, even if you then just dismiss it: not everyone here is every going to like you and some do; you, like all of us, have room to improve, and even nasty comments from mean people may give information of value … or not. But the information is what is of possible value, not the opinions of strangers here.
