I’m building a model of a steampunk-y flying machine, an Edwardian Aerial Housecar, and I’m thinking it needs a figurehead.
What I’d like is an angel, or angel-like, figure, about an inch or so tall. The pose should be upright, feet together, arms out stretched, something like this.
It seems to me that there ought to be something suitable in a wargame figure, maybe 25-28mm scale; but I know almost nothing about what’s available, and I lack the patience to flick through a bazillion miniatures pages looking for one. (This project is already taking quite long enough )
Can any of you miniatures gamers out there, you guys with encyclopedic knowledge of the field, point me toward something suitable? Nude is okay, sword is okay, prefer she didn’t have flowing robes (because they’ll be hard to work with).
Reaper Miniatures has the Angel of Shadow, which is relatively close.
There’s also this Angel of Victory (link broken, she’s nude): http://www.nobleknight.com/ ProductDetailSearch.asp_Q_ProductID_E_2147393507_ A_InventoryID_E_2147653619
Celestine the living saint is already a steampunk angel. The model comes with the cape as shown, but is compatible with just about any wings (there is space on the side of her “backpack” where all sorts of things can be joined). These are pretty.
