Minor Simpsons character you'll most like to see again.

Uter. “Don’t make me run. I am full of chocolate!”

Doh - That’s even funnier.

Seymour Skinner. Hardly even referred to at all, let alone seen.

“Future” Maggie.

All of Dr. Hibbert’s living brothers.

Can never get enough Fat Tony &Co.

I can’t believe nobody’s mentioned Roy! Bring back Roy!

Or not.

KARL!

I was thrilled to see Frank Grimes JR. return in his father’s stead.

And am I the only one who NEVER wants to see the two “barflys” featured in an episode. They haven’t appeared in a while, but I always liked them mysterious.

Tibor is Hungarian, not Mexican. And although Homer used him as a scapegoat, he moved up the ranks more quickly than Homer. Too bad, Homer.

If they ever make a Simpson’s spin-off, I want it to be about Gil.

“My hotplate! And I just made the last payment, too!”

Handsome Pete’s a close second, but I have to give another vote for Disco Stu. I don’t know why, but I always search for him in the crowd scenes. I think it has to do with the way he was introduced. Homer was trying to sell a denim jacket at a yard sale. He had once tried to use a Ronco rinestone studder to put the words “Disco Stud” on the back of it but ran out of room. Someone picked it up and said something like, “here’s a jacket for you Stu!” Stu replied, “Disco Stu does not have to advertise.”

I’ve always assumed this guy was supposed to be a parody of someone in real life, but I don’t know who.

As far as cameos go, though, I’d like to see a return of the inanimate carbon rod. What’s that guy been up to, I wonder?

The ICR (“Rod” to his friends) appeared last (?) season in the organizational chart as Homer’s superior.

He is, actually; but the name escapes me. He used to be on a lot of comedy shows in the 50s and 60s. Someone around here knows, I’ve seen him mentioned before.

Oh, and this is not really that minor a character but I love Ralph Wiggum. Can he have a whole storyline to himself? Then again, I suppose he’s there to deliver killer one-liners.

Funniest. Line. Ever.

That line was just class, genius even.

My vote goes to Duffman, I love the guy.

“Duffman is a cautious cat”.

He was a character actor named Frank Nelson. I learned this from the SDMB a long time ago, so do a search in Cafe Society for Frank Nelson, and I’m sure you can turn up more information.

There have been at least two episodes which heavily featured Ralph. I Love Lisa is definitely one of the best episodes ever, and features Ralph getting a crush on Lisa. There’s a decent but unspectacular episode in which Ralph and Bart become friends and they “borrow” stuff from Chief Wiggum. (Which includes the great line “why are you so fascinated with my forbidden closet of mysteries?”)

I totally forgot about the Capital City Goofball. To see him paired up somehow with Sideshow Mel would be terrific.

You can never have enough Moleman.

I wish Phil Hatman was still alive. I’d like to see some of the characters he voiced return.

Say, has Bruce Campbell ever voiced any characters on The Simpsons? I’d like to see that.
