I’m pretty sure the poster has stated that it is Molly Ivins, someone they admire.
I love Ms Ivin’s. Her smile is much nicer than Dave’s.
I just happened to see one of @Happy_Lendervedder 's posts, and remembered that I tend to misinterpret their avatar. I know that it’s a cute mammal of some sort (Otter?) dressed as an aviator… but I keep seeing that cravat as a beak, and so interpreting it as a bird.

Our flying squirrels have been very active at dusk the past few weeks. They and my gf startle each other in a regular basis. She goes out to water porch plants, they freak out, she spills water.
