Miss Lucy...

anyone remember this song?

Ms. Lucy had a steamboat
the steamboat had a bell (ding ding)
Ms lucy went to heaven
the steamboat went to hell-o operator
please give me number nine
and if you cut me off
i’ll chop off your behind the 'fridgerator
there was a piece of glass
ms lucy sat upon it
and broke her little ass…

there’s more but i forgot. anyone know the rest?

…And broke her little…
Ask me no more questions,
I’ll tell you no more lies,
The boys are in the bathroom
Zipping up their
Flies are in the woodshed
Bees are in the park
Boys and girls are kissing
in the D-A-R-K Dark!
Kind of a lame ending, in’it?

The way I remember the last few lines are…

…Bees are in the park
24 boys and 24 girls
Are kissing in the
D-A-R-K, D-A-R-K
Dark goes with movies
Movies go with show
Ask me no more questions
For that is all I know, know, know!

…and if you disconnect me
I’ll kick you in behind the 'friderator
there was a piece of glass…

Just a little variation I guess…

What is sad is that I still remember the handmotions to that one and to…Ms Mary Mack!

Okay, since we are in the process of regressing, what ARE the hand motions to “Miss Mary Mack”.

(“Miss”, as I was taught by my kindergarten teacher).

I have three girls, so I get to do handclaps all the time. I (proudly) know Miss Mary Mack, Say Say O’ Playmate, and I Went to a Chinese Restaurant.

Whoa! That’s a new one on me. What’s the words, what’s the tune?

(I have the feeling this thread’ll be shuffled off to Buf-, er, Cafe Society soon.)

there is a very cool band called SELF that puts that ditty into a song.
I rememeber Chinese restaurant as well as Teddy bear.

the chinese restaurant one is not too pc, but here’s what I remember:

I went to a chinese resaurant
to buy a loaf of bread (bread bread bread)
he put it in a 5 lb bag
and this is what he said (said said said)

my name is:

cane eye pickle eye
(ok, this part gets way fuzzy, but it made NO sense. it was like ‘talking chinese’)
