Perhaps you are thinking of the personal three-microphone technique Sarah Silverman uses?
[hijack] One of my Pet peeves. All it takes is one space in a URL to break a link. Putting 5 or 10 extra does nothing except piss people off who only caught 4 or 9 of them.
For the love of OG just break links with one space.

I just don’t understand why people who are not exhibitionists will do this. Obviously, if you don’t care about showing, fine. But I’ve known several people who do not want to be seen naked, but will not wear panties even under a dress.
Of course, in this case, it might have been someone who didn’t mind who wanted to get a leg up.
Well, she’s by no means the first pageant contestant to go commando. Back in college, my roommate came back from a trip home for the local fall festival with less blatant but probably more embarrassing story. One of the contestants was a fair-skinned brunette wearing a white dress that I’m sure seemed totally opaque at home and in the store. But when the stage lights hit it…well, one of the many well-meaning church ladies in the crowd apparently turned to my friend and said “Oh, poor thing, she’s gotten a stain on her dress.”
At least Miss Colombia appears to have removed anything that might shadow through a pale costume. And her grandparents, teachers, and preacher probably weren’t in the audience at any of these appearances.
Or better yet, use the tag. Satisfies the two-click rule and it much less irritating that hunting for blank spaces.
www.google.com
OK, sorry, I didn’t know this would annoy people so much. Just wanted to make people work a little harder for their underwear-free Colombian.
Doing some selfless research on this issue, it appears that this all goes back to a single picture (the one that has been linked to here). It was published on the front page of a South American newspaper and started the controversy. Apparently nobody prior to this had noticed Ms Robayo wasn’t wearing underwear.
If you’ve seen the picture, you presumably will agree it’s not conclusive. It does appear that she might not be wearing panties but it’s not certain. And the picture might be photoshopped.
From news reports I’ve read, when the picture was published and pageant officials spoke with Ms Robayo, she denied that she was going commando. She said she had been wearing underwear.
Or even better yet (IMO), use spoiler tags. It also satisfies the two-click rule, and provides a clickable link to the picture.
Thanks for the hijack, Rick. I was prepared to start a whole new thread over it. I don’t know about but the spoiler tag also works.
For the record, Colophon, we’re all a bunch of lazy bastards and if we wanna see hot chicks with no undies, we wanna see them post-haste. I’m just sayin…
You said and didn’t close it, I’m guessing.
Ohhhhh, duh! :smack: Thanks! I thought I was misfiring.
If straight guys were running the show, this wouldn’t be an issue. Just sayin’.
AFAIK, the chief reason for going sans panties is to avoid panty lines on the dress, which apparently is the biggest fashion faux-pas ever? And maybe she also doesn’t like thongs, so her choices were panty lines or nothing.
I don’t get it, really…so I can tell you are wearing underwear…big deal, so is (almost) everyone else.
I for one welcome our new panty-less masters.
Miss Colombia has renewed my faith in pageants.
Your link has holes in it. No, wait, what I mean is the link is to a picture, with holes. In the link, I mean. Your link shows holes. Hang on, what I’m trying to say is the URL. The URL has holes showing.
Dammit. You know what I mean.
The other contestants might complain about her getting bonus points.
So Miss Columbia was caught with her knickers down(or off) and you mean to tell me she didn’t win?
Interesting. I just assumed that, since this was such a big deal, they had more evidence than just this picture. At the very least, I assumed they knew the picture was legit, and had a higher resolution version.
I zoomed in on the image, and I really can’t tell if the image is altered or not at the resolution given. Nothing stands out, but it’s a rather small region.
Speak for yourself.
