Apparently he wanted them to post pro-Thailand stuff to win a contest and dinner with him. He called out Miss Mexico and then wanted security when she wanted to leave. I’m happy so many left with her.
Seems that the “host” was the rich businessman bankrolling the contest. So he was pissed about contestents not advertising for him enough.
Suprisingly informative and reasonable comments from the Reddit group “anime titties”:

I’m not going to click the links, but you brought a huge grin to my face with that line.
I clicked the link. Yep. anime_titties, it is.
Good for Miss Mexico for taking a stand.
It should be mentioned that that group is actually about World Politics and News. I guess the name is a joke? Not suggesting you visit if you don’t want to do so.
Anime Titties is actually almost a reputable site for Reddit. The joke was they used a serious forum name in the past and people just posted anime titties so they tried the opposite and being Reddit it worked.
There was a subreddit worldpolitics that had derelict moderators so, as a protest, people started posting explicit anime in the group to show that nothing was being taken down. In response, they created an anime_titties subreddit to discuss world politics.
/r/worldpolitics to this day is a NSFW anime subreddit.

Update: Miss Mexico won.
So how many judges were there? I assume that she didn’t get the creepy executive’s vote. But if a majority of the judges found her activism to be commendable to vote her for it, well, maybe there’s some hope for the world.
Supposed to be 8.
