I missed watching the opening ceremony of the Olympics at Beijing. Is there some way I can catch a rerun. Do any of the telecasters have it on their schedule to show it anytime again soon?
I heard a snippet on the radio from NBC that they were going to show it this Friday at 8 PM but I may have been mistaken because my weekly TV program shows other Olympic coverage at that time.
If its rebroadcast, tape it, Tivo it or DVR it. That way you can reduce NBC’s five-hour version of it to about two hours.
It will also be easier to spot the fake CGI fireworks.
I just stumbled across it here (about 30 minutes, I think):

but that ruins most of the magic
It’s available on the BBC iPlayer website, along with anything else worth watching from the last 7 days’ of output. However, while this works (and is free) for anyone here in the UK, I don’t know if people overseas or in other broadcasting territories are able to access the service.
Here’s 52 minutes of it but you need NBC’s plugin to watch it.
