The New Looney Tunes Golden Collection DVD contains “56 classic shorts”.
I was very excited when I first saw that this collection was released. Then I saw a listing of the shorts which are included.
“What’s Opera, Doc?” is suspiciously absent.
This is my all-time Number 1 FAVORITE!!! How could they omit it??? Are they planning to release another volume and are they just saving a few gems for volume 2?

According to WB, the studio is planning to release a multi-disc set ever year. Given that there are over a thousand Looney Tunes shorts in their catalogue, it’s understandable if they distribute more of the gems among the sets.
I’m happy that there are any on DVD at all, and I’m sure more of the classics will be out in next year’s set.
