Missing Malaysian Plane

Ah, good times.

Okay, so maybe this is not the weirdest thread ever. But it’s in the top five. Top 10 for sure.

I’m sure the OP would agree since I’m saying this on the Internet, because it would appear he believes anything he reads on the Internet. Cloned humans indeed!

That’s not the case.
You guys are making it complicated. I simply mentioned there some people who can predict things which we can’t see with earthy eyes and evidence and why not asking them to help.

I never meant that i’m gonna believe the whole stuff on web.

And tell me, you mean the entire information about human cloning and “Eve” -one of the cloned human - is invalid?

Unbelievers might turn into believers, but then it’ll be too late!

Because their track record is abysmal. They are absurd failures. Psychics can’t find missing persons. They can’t find buried treasure. They can’t find missing objects. They can’t find water. They can’t meet the James Randi challenge.

Every so often, some police department will become so desperate, they do listen to such people. The result is uniformly pointless, and often worse than pointless, as Sheriffs are dispatched to dig up empty fields or knock on the doors of completely uninvolved persons.

Why not ask them to help? Why not throw darts at a map: the results will be the same.

OK, then this is the answer to my question in the first place!!! I just asked! Because this is the first time I’m hearing the police has already tried them but not getting any tangible result.

You didn’t ask a question ‘in the first place’. You made an assertion that some psychics, clairvoyants or whatever name is trendy nowadays have gifts that allow them to see specific events in the past, and to predict specific events in the future.

So, pony up with some evidence Reza. Got anything apart from platitudes?

I apologize. I thought you were familiar with the debate, which is a long-standing one here on SDMB. I didn’t realize you were coming in without the baggage of much participation on the topic. I sort of laid in as if you were an old hand in the debate.

This Wikipedia page may be of some interest.

And we’re all simply mentioning that that’s complete horseshit.

There is NO EVIDENCE for Eve’s existence, let alone being a clone. It’s a hoax. Once again, here’s a link to the discussion on NPR. You don’t even have to read, just listen to the podcast.

Too late for what?..

But shouldn’t you have known, ahead of time, that there would be other threads?

May be a false alarm, but a Chinese ship searching for the black box claims to have heard a ‘ping’. Same area where a search plane spotted some “white floating objects:” 25 South, 101 East.

That’s odd. Psychics were no help and science and technology were useful. Reza, the answer to your question is that there are no real psychics- and no real human clones either. That Eve story was an obvious fraud.

Catastrophic failure of some sort? The point is, we don’t know. There could be more than one cause - for example; relatively minor system failure combined with human error.

Thanks a lot for your comments and answers from the last post of mine. Soon I’ll be back to comment and continue talking on each single post right after my last comment/post.

I’m enjoying being with you here discussing things.

Any references to clue me in more?

Should I?
Does anybody really do search before posting anything? Do you do it on every single posting? That’ll take too much!
Don’t freak people coming and asking questions! lol

1- I’ll take a look at the link and come back continuing.

2- Too late to regret.

Any article on the subject, including the Wikipedia entry, should make it obvious this was a hoax.
