I’m positive that I saw a thread here that asked if someone invited someone else to dinner, should they bring anything. I’m sorry I forgot the exact question but it was very specific, maybe, “If my wife and I invited your family to dinner, would you bring anything?”
Well, I’m positive I made two posts to that thread. Then later, I wanted to find that thread and so I used the Search tool. I’ve used it hundreds of times before.
I selected the Advanced version and then entered my name in the appropriate place. I’ve actually created a macro so I only have to push a button and the macro then does all that automatically.
But I can’t find that thread at all. I don’t know what’s wrong. I’m like 99.99% certain I made those posts and just as certain it was on this board.
I suppose it might have been on some other board. But I distinctly remember trying to edit it about 6 minutes after it was made and I remember that message that said I was out of time to make changes. I’ve seen that message many times and so I’m sure that I made those posts on this board.
Am I losing my mind? No wait. There is a good chance I am. But is there some other problem? I know I saw both posts were made. What could have happened outside of my stupidity?
I remember one other post from that thread was from Rivka_Chiya (spelling?). She said it was a problem when someone brought non-kosher food to her kosher kitchen.
I just now found that post was made in the IMHO forum. I just don’t understand why it doesn’t show up when I use the Search tool and search for my name.
You can subscribe to threads you are following. You can then see all your subscriptions from your control panel. When you go to your CP it will show any subscribed threads that have new posts.
There’s an option to automatically subscribe to a thread whenever you make a post.
Finding your threads is then easy. Go to your CP and click on “View all subscribed threads”
