regarding the recently rerun article on mistletoe:
The article describes the death of Baldur after being struck by an arrow or dart of mistletoe. The scene where the gods are amusing themselves by chucking stuff at Baldur is wonderfully captured in a ‘homicide’ investigation on Alan Moore’s “Top Ten”. In his story, the gods are a fairly simple and drunken bunch- they call it “the throwing stuff game”, if I remember correctly.
Also, if I may nitpick, Loki was punished very severely (beyond the limits permitted by his status as Odin’s blood brother), and this was probably a precursor to Ragnarok, the end of the world.
