Mistletoe

In the master’s column about mistletoe, he cites Edgar Nash, saying Loki chucked the mistletoe spear at Baldur killing him. Nash¹ got it a bit wrong, at least according to the Prose Edda. It was even worse. During the play session, Baldur’s brother, the blind Höðr² is wanting to get in on the fun so Loki hands him the spear, saying “Here, use this,” and the rest is history. It began a chain of events that leads to Ragnorök which (for our cycle, at least) is Very Bad.

¹Surely it wasn’t the Perfect Master

²Pronounced Hoe-thur with a voiced th, like ‘there’
