How come when I urinate, it is sometimes (not often) cloudy? There’s no other simptom (expect that it might smell more acrid). This can’t be VD because it has happened all my life. Does this happen to everyone?
I don’t know about the acrid smell, but turbidity is probably most often caused by precipitated salts (such as calcium phosphate), which may indicate mineral loss from the bones, but probably isn’t terribly dangerous. Other possibilities are fat or pus in the urine, either of which would be a cause for concern. I am not a doctor.
Interesting Pogues reference.
Ah, you noticed! That song’s been in my head for some reason.
Cloudy urine gets talked about here sometimes but you can get better info at webmd.com
My doc used to put it in a test tube & spin it around then he can see what it is.
