Wait a minute… If Romney still insists that he ran a great campaign, isn’t the only reason left for why he lost that the majority of Americans reject Republican policies?
Yes.
No. Never. Of course not. It’s because of…Shenanigans
Yes, but it’s not because the policies are bad. It’s because we’re a nation of takers and moochers who want everything for free and also 99% tax rates which we don’t care about because only people like Papa John pay taxes.
The Right are the takers. They want everything for free and a zero percent tax rate.
And stupid poor people.
And Black Panthers <checks photo>
Black Panther.
I love the ad on this page!
HOW RE_ELECTED OBAMA WILL TRIPLE YOUR ELECTRIC BILL
Discover the shocking monopoly Obama plans to sign into low now that his second term is assured!
WOW! Obama is so strong, he can sign stuff into law without it going through the Republican-controlled House!! This is a socialist-Kenyan who can get things DONE!
… and the 47percent who just hate him persomally, and those people that want things, and all the black folks and wimminz Obama was bribing with uhhhhh stuff.
As far as reality goes, they went off the rails long ago.
His pizza sucks anyway.
The only times Mitt seems to have any integrity or honesty with what he says is when he is acting like Mr Burns. I’m sure that isn’t a coincidence.
I’m glad he lost. Let him stew in his sour grapes for a while, and let all those farmers who collect gov. subsidies and all the elderly on medicare and SS continue to delude themselves that they aren’t welfare queens at the teat of Uncle Sam just like the people they disdain.
I see Rmoney is still spouting the attitude that poor people are poor because they deserve to be poor. It’s their own fault for being poor, so anything they get from the government to help them not be poor is a handout they don’t deserve.
Well Romney was poor himself, in college.
Say what you will about Dubya, but at least he had the sense to shut up and drop out of sight when his time on the national stage was up.
Hey Ryan, if you’re here I want to show you something–this is my shocked face:
HWUHUHHHHH!!!
Seriously, though, an article in today’s L.A. Times suggests that a key contribution to Obama’s victory was the fact that he carried several important states that don’t have large cities or minority populations.
IOW it’s practically the opposite of what Ryan says–rural and suburban voters joining urban voters in supporting Obama.
It was a call to the people who’s billions he threw away in a massive failure of a campaign, he certainly wasn’t going to tell them the truth “America just doesn’t like rich assholes like us”.
I hereby propose that he henceforth be known as;
C. MontRomney Burns
That’s my attitude at this point. No matter how good the Republican or bad the Democrat, I’m still going to vote Democrat because as a party the Republicans are so bad that no amount of damage an individual Democrat can do is going to outweigh that.
I’m not willing to do that. I don’t think we should look at the ® or (D) before their name before we decide about their ideas. There are several Republicans I could vote for. None of them would run this time, but still.
only one time, though
lasted 15 minutes
in a dream
he woke up screaming
bought himself a $200 sweater and calmed right down
close call
Thing is, you wouldn’t be just electing them and their ideas; you’d be giving more power to the entire Republican party and its ideas. And the candidate’s ideas won’t get much traction unless the other Republicans go along with them, which is unlikely.
