Thanks, jesuslynch.
I’ve been wanting to be a Yooper (resident of the UP) for quite some time, so I came across Felch, MI some time back. I’ve even been there. As I recall, it’s basically a wide spot in the road.
If I was to become a yooper, I’m not sure if I’d want to live up near Copper Harbor where they get something like 300 inches of snow every winter, or in Ontanogon, which I believe is the easternmost point in the eastern time zone, which would make is easier to catch the sunrise.
Oops, that should be westernmost point in the eastern time zone, not easternmost. Duh.
I think I’d avoid the town’s “straw festival” if I was y’all.
San Francisco’s Italian restaurant called “La Felce”(pronounced Felch-ay)!

I’ve just been looking over a map of Vermont. There’s a Felchertown there.
Here in Massachusetts we have to make do with Belchertown.
ok… so it’s not exactly Felchville, but in Ontario, there’s a little town called Punky Doodles Corners. I wanna live there. Or in Ompah, also in Ontario.
