There seems to be a very strong buzz, ever since the original story emerged, that this is a thinly disguised public relations veil thrown over a very serious cocaine habit.
If it does turn out to be a drug habit, is their multimedia merchandising empire effectively done for?
And if that’s the case, they’re already worth gazillions of dollars, so I don’t think they’d suffer any loss. Hell, maybe by this point they’re feeling just about done with it all, and what better time than when they’re starting college to try and be more individual? Don’t get me wrong, if it is in fact a drug habit she should be in treatment.
