Yes we have. I hope next year the AL manager and players takes the home field into consideration when making their choices for alternates. We’re going to have some talent on the field to choose from, especially from the bullpen (if we don’t trade Soria, which is being rumored this morning since he shuffled his no-trade clause around last night).

There’s a very good chance I’m heading back to KC for the ASG next year, if not to just sit in the parking lot and eat ribs. My brother’s practice has season tickets, so I’m hoping I might get put on some succession list so that I can hope that 12 or 13 people in front of me all get food poisoning.

The NL was a bit short of options, with several guys hurt. Rolen was still not a great choice, but when you consider thatthree or four guys were hurt ahead of him, nto as bad as you’d think.

He’s not the worst All-Star of all time, an honor that shall always belong to Alfredo Griffin.
