I know you are trying to appease other members of your household, but you better be more specific about where in the division they end up, lest someone in your household winds up being happier than you at the end of the regular season.
New May thread here.
Yet the Yankees lost, and all is right with the world.
I’m a few days late with this, but wanted to note that the Mad Bum really showed my Dodgers he’s still got something left in the tank. And, since the Giants are not yet double digits out of the pennant race, let us also note that the Giants suck bilgewater.
An All-Star first half last year. I’m going to speculate he lost his fire after the trade.
ok here’s a story where i don’t get what the problem is MSN
What’s the bad thing here? since the “brokers” rip the buyers off anyhow …
The story doesn’t give a lot of details, but I assume it means the team uses a price floor. Let’s say I’ve got tickets for a Monday night game versus the Marlins and I’d take $5 for them. If the team controls the resale market, they probably would set a higher price floor.
Seriously, why does Tampa get a team (OK, technically St. Petersburg) ? Watched the Yankees-Rays game last night, they have a pretty decent team. But they don’t even use the upper deck of their stadium. They drew like 25,000 in total for a 3 game set with Arizona. I say ship the team to Montreal instead of the inevitable expansion.
and i beet most of them that went were there to see the yankees …
a lot of people ask that about any florida team gets except the magic and the bucs … and im told the only thing that keeps the bucs going is the snowbirds go to a bucks game to see their home team win …
Same thing happens in LA or a big city/metro area where the residents are seasonal or transplants
Cubs beat the Brewers 2-1 in 15 innings. Walkoff homer by Willson Contreras.
(These latest posts should probably go in the May thread.)
I just realized I put it in the wrong thread.
