Thank you for restoring my faith in the Globe, BlackKnight.
oh, yeah, and fightin’ a little ignorance…:o
I always knew the Canadians were Nazis. Nobody believed me, but ever since the Blue Jays took the World Series from the Braves I knew. First baseball, and now pie. I bet the guy had apple pie. Are they going to go after mom next? I say we invade the bastards.
Try the one called “art”.
How do you prove somebody was planning to throw a pie? I’d hate to be the DA on that one. Unless you can find a detailed written pie-throwing plan in the guy’s basement, with remains of prototype pies, and a cutout photo of the intended target that’s been used for practice. Maybe a tearful message he recorded for his family. “By the time you see this, I will have thrown a pie…Mom, don’t hate me. I’m doing this for all of us.”
So, does pie-throwing get you the electric chair in Canada?
Jean Cretin, known throttler, has cake-eater arrested.
“Well, he looked so suspicious, with his nonblack hair and his nondark complexion. Just eating that cake, waiting for the right time to strike. And sacre bleu … he was coming right for me!”
When informed that the man was leaving, Cretin wrapped his hands around the throat of the reporter and began frothing in his heavily accented English. His Royal Canadian Pastry Police had to shove two scones and a plateful of clotted cream into his face to subdue the Canadian head of state.
Meanwhile, Quebec is goddamned pissed that nobody has thought to shove a croissant into somebody’s face yet.
Oh, plenty of people have thought about it… they’re just nervous about being associated in any way with Islamic terrorists.
Now I know the real reason why the Canadians booed the Rock this past Wrestlemania. When he talked about pie, he was indirectly threatening the PM.
Trust me, threatening to pie the PM wouldn’t be a reason to boo someone.
An organizer of dissidents was snatched for a few days in Vancouver during the summit. Now a lawyer who represented dissidents has been arrested and released.
This is third world, tin pot dictatorship behaviour, and must not be tolerated in Canada.
Many members of the Liberal party are not happy with these sorts of shenanigans involving the little guy from Shawinigan, and will act accordingly in the upcoming leadership review.
