TGIF. It’s been a long weekend. I’ve been assigned as a water-spider all week and it so physically beat me that I had to see the backcracker this AM. Two full work weeks and 2 days left ------ and then a couple months to contemplate if I want to apply to return or move on to something different. And so are the Days of Our Lives.

I’m heading out to the kitchen to get a piece of birthday cake.
Then to get some real food since I haven’t eaten yet today.
Then on to cleaning up around here and getting some laundry done.

Smokeage of meat has been achieved. Also the makeage of coleslaw and baked beans. Oh, and a no bake ‘nanner puddin’. We are havin’ a few people over tomorrow but not many. At this point I am still not ready to handle a lot of folks runnin’ around da cave. Plus also, tomorrow afternoon at four, the Bishop will be at the church house for Confirmation and Reception of folks in our local convocation. I got roped into ush duty. Thus I shall have to take my leave. Folks can still hang around however.

It’s been cold enough here that I didn’t want to drag myself out of my warm bed this morning. But alas, irk has to be done. Grocery shopping tonight, then off to a little BBQ joint to meet my bestie for supper. Tomorrow morning, I have to make a quickie to take to a brunch potluck. Unlike SOME folks, I don’t get Monday off, let alone a bonus day.
Howdy Y’all! I cleanded up the smoker. Go Me! This is the hottest part of the day round heah and ‘tis ONLY 79 Amurrkin out. NIIIIIIIIIIICE! Seriously I was outside scrubbin’ down the smoker and didn’t even break a sweat.
Oh, and I dusted and vacuumed da cave. Like I said, I had a day off MOOOOOOM style. 
ETA: And if that wasn’t enough, I did two loads of laundry.
Well I finally hiked my ass out and asked somebody to please not park on my property.
He tells me the neighbor told him it was okay to park there.
Oh! Really!
The neighbor is telling people it’s okay to park on *MY *property.
I’ll think about it if he wants to rent a space.
Some people are so nervy!

We’re back from our trek to the wilds of North Stafford, VA, coming back via Fredburg and King George. Along with the paint, we got some shop stuff for FCD, some studio tools and pillows at WalMart, and 6 quarts of strawberries from Rose - we had to stop at her farm to get them. Yum!
The sheets are folded and put away, and the replacements are sitting on the bed - I’ll make it up soon.
It’s been a good day so far.

He was nice about it though.
Now I am parking my truck crosswise across the pad so nobody else can park there.
Just started the kiln. In about 13 hours or so, it should be done, and it’ll have 24 hours to cool down before I remove the finished products. Here’s hoping it all goes well…
Supper here will be grab whatever…
Dindin has been ingested. OYKW is about to have him a soak in the tub. All is well. Da bear is tahrd.

Howdy all - took the day off. Kidlets are both sick now. They both watched movies all day. I’m trying to get motivated enough to go grocery shopping. That would mean moving a cat off my lap. The horror!
Time to start planning dinner. Hmmmm. Got nothing.

The back yard is mowed, the front yard is still waiting.
Everything needs a good trimming and weed pulling but I am not up to such things yet.
