Howdy Y’all! ‘Tis been one bzzzzzy but fun day! A few folks at the cee-mint pond and a good N.O,L. I excused myself from all the fun and frolick at two so’s I could purtify up for ush duty at the biiiiiiiiig regional Confirmation thing at the church house. I left the revelers and went and did the ush thing. It was a really great service with lots o’ folks there and a reception afterwards. I got back to da cave a little bit ago to find the revelers all gone and the kitchen all cleanded up. YAY OYKW! He done good with that. Now it’s chillax time. Da bear is tahrd!
My friend just told me today that she broke up with her husband. 
I feel sad.
My sister and I went downtown today. It was too cold to do much that I’d originally planned, but we went to the BBQ chicken place that we like and went a few other places too.
The BBQ sauce ribs were good, tho not falling off the bone - they could have gone a little longer. Oh well…
The guy who was supposed to come look at the bike never did show up. Butthead.

Home form work, dog is walked, orange ginger chicken is marinating, hockey in a bit, and I’m drinking a Hoppyum. not bad for a working weekend.

I forgot to mention this earlier. Our Priest Associate, commentatin’ on some stuff I’ve posted on facebook the past few days, told me I am even sicker than he already thought. High praise from a Priest!

Yard done, shopping done, beer – working on it.
I got up early to make quickies for today’s breakfast potluck and tomorrow’s brunch one (shades of swampy here, cooking ahead 
). After breakfast and social time, I stopped at the Asian market for veggies and supplies (I got a buttload of broccoli florets from the used veggie rack for $1.50) and came home for a short nap before chores and laundry. I let my niece and nephew do the cooking for supper: BBQ ribs, slaw, salad, baked beans and garlic bread with strawberry shortcake for dessert. I’s stuffed. 
The hockey game is giving me chest pains. I might need to find a less stressful hobby, like bomb disposal.
OT has been fun so far; especially the power play.
I’ve had a quickie at a breakfast potluck and at a lunch potluck but never both in the same day. Unless we are thinking of two different kinds of quickies.
Which we probably are.
But I wouldn’t bet money on it.
Remember a few months ago when we had a party and someone’s kid accidentally summoned the cops to the house?
They did it again! At least today, the 911 dispatcher called back, rather than just sending officers over, not knowing what to expect.
Serves me right for running two new phone extensions today. :smack:
Only 2 overtimes last night. now I’m up, caffeinated, and off to work. today is my Firday(again).

I am seriously considerin’ not deheathenatin’ this mornin’ bein’ as I was at a marathon deheathenization just yestiddy. I know it’s Pentecost Sunday but I heard all that already. Thus, maybe goin’ back to bed for a while and headin’ for the cee-mint pond sounds like a good plan.
Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then we shall see. 'Tis a willy-nilly day at da cave!

I opened the kiln right after I fed the dog. It’s still over 100°, but it’s safe to let ambient air in, so I did. I’ll unload later and take some pics.
Meanwhile, I’m up and the critters have been fed. **FCD **is still snoozing. No clue what we’ll do today. I should mow - maybe…
The heat will start to return, and in a few days, we’re supposed to be wallowing in 90s+ and humidity. Oh joy.
