I have Verizon wireless service and recently downgraded from a Palm to a Samsung Glyde in order to get the unlimited data and extra minutes without the $30 a month charge for using a smart phone online. This phone plays videos off of youtube with no problem. I can watch clips of shows or music videos from there at work without issue. Unfortunately, I would like to listen to internet radio (somewhat like what came on my psp if possible) - shoutcast or mobtuner or something to that effect.
I have found a few sites that can do this, but they are in Russian. I am okay with learning another language, but this wasn’t the way I had planned on starting. Does anyone on the SDMB happen to know if there is a streaming radio website that would work on the Glyde? It seems this should be easier to find than video sites, but I keep having trouble due to mobile browser issues. Also, if there is a chance of streaming premier league games, I will go out of my way to find it, but if someone here knows of that also, is there a way you could help out?
