I reread my post and I can’t even find where I mentioned health care.
Heathcare was a majority approved plan. The people wanted it. But the rightwing machine has pounded the airwaves with dis-information until many followers began to doubt. Voters who mentioned it as a reason they voted for the Repubs could not define any part of the programs they wanted gone. Voters are not too damn bright. They vote against their own interests over and over.
So are you saying that health care reform doesn’t count as a Democratic accomplishment? As in, “running away from their accomplishments?” The health care is the biggest accomplishment in decades. It dwarfs anything else accomplished by Congress in many years.
I can say the same thing for every Democratic accomplishment as for health care: Hoyer and Clyburn were the ones actually counting the votes for everything that’s been done in the last four years.
I want “Tip” O’Neill back. That’s right I want you to dig him up and prop whatever’s left of him on the speaker’s platform.
