Ok, I was in the other room, smoking a cig, and came up with something I was wondering…
When a moderator is giving someone a warning who’s name they don’t recognize, do they search the person’s name to see if they have had previous warnings? If they do, what search terms do y’all normally use? Do y’all normally search all forums, or do you search only that secret moderator forum*? Do you change the date range that you search (only recent, or of all time)?
And most of all… Are Moderators (and I guess SDSAB) limited to a search time limit (one every 30 secounds, 2 minutes, or whatever the limit is now)?
*I don’t know if it really exists, but I’ve heard rumors.
Moderators have a special forum not visible to the rest of us where they record these things. My guess is that each of us who has been warned have their own thread.
That’s right. And yes, when somebody gets warned we check to see if its’ happened before.
That’d be really cluttered. There are just a couple of threads: A-D, E-I and so on.
Do I have a secret file? Do you have the pics of me and the goat…?!
Oh wait…I mean. Nope never did anything with a goat. Never met a goat. Don’t know a goat. What’s a goat?
“Moderator’s searching members”
Yes, it’s amazing the things we Moderators can do with our members.
But how long does it take to find?
Buckner’s just bragging about his recent “upgrade.”
