In this thread, TaxGuy mentions getting certain people coughcough thrown off the boards for ‘wealthism’. Can this be done if someone exhibits ‘wealthism’?

Yes they could, but I seriously doubt they would. That post is in the pit, where almost every other thread is bashing somebody because of a particular trait that could easily have the suffix -ism tacked on to it. For example, some threads in the pit right now:
Motherfxxxing zombies! (necrophagism)
Oregon State Budget cuts close schools down early (Legislatism)
My asshat neighbour’s cat killed our tree (felinism)
The Brits are OK and America should lighten up (Anti-Americanism)
A perfect example of what’s wrong with the world today (Earthism)
And so on.
Several of the Mods are known to exhibit postinginthewrongforumism.
IDBB, you might want to e-mail the Mods and ask them to move this to the BBQ Pit. While I see nothing inflammatory in your post, that is the Forum where they prefer such questions be asked.
It is not our current intent to ban people for wealthism. That said, they have to exhibit that behavior consistent with the forum rules.
