Momentous Personal Stuff I Must Share

(well it is neither Mundane nor Pointless, but this seems to be the best place to put an announcement like this…)

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen - this is a colleague announcement

Grimpixie Family Inc is delighted to announce a projected increase of 50% in its future stock holdings, expected to be realised within the next 6-and-a-half to seven months. Naturally the directors of the Corporation are delighted with this forecast and await the delivery of new stock with the appropriate fear and trembling. When approached for comment, the Director of Corporate Growth and New Business was heard to mumble something about not feeling like commenting at this point in time before staggering off to the bathroom. This negative attitude is expected to last for a few more weeks after which happiness and well-being are sure to abound.

Fond regards,
Grimpixie
(Director of Family Affairs and Publicity)

Congrats!

And you’re going to follow Doper tradition by letting us vote on a name, right?

Congratulations!

Er, sorry to break it to you, but it’s not likely to get significantly better anytime soon  Morning sickness may be followed by insomnia; irrational crying jags; weird food cravings at ungodly hours; hip pain, head pain, back pain, leg pain, and butt pain, aka The Dreaded Hemorrhoids

Many congratulations heading your way! FWIW, I pretty much enjoyed pregnancy.

Congratulations!

Many congrats!

When Bus Kid was on the way, the Bus Mom expressed an almost constant craving for Brown’s chicken, KFC mashed potatoes, and the Apple Dumplings from Wendy’s.

Oh, and her craving for Bus Guy increased exponentially too. Enjoy that part if it comes, for the immediate 6 weeks or so after are a cold and lonely time.

…and don’t forget post-partum depression and lost sleep afterwards!

But really, congrats. Your life is really going to change.

*Aaaaaah. * You are creating a clone. How charming.

Many congrats on the zygote/gamete (sp?) merger!

Our first argument is which surname the sprog is going to take - the Director of Corporate Growth and I are married, but she has kept her maiden name and would dearly love the kid to have her surname, especially if its a boy. Naturally, I feel the same…

If we ever settle that one without fatality, we may well approach y’all for comment on the first name(s).

Grim

Congrats on your wonderful news!
