Thank you.
Good! I’ll be able to catch the one I missed about the sleeping suspect.
That was great! I never thought Monk would be able to solve the case of the sleeping suspect! Brilliant script!
I stopped watching it long enough to see the Cubs lose to the Dodgers. Otherwise, my ass was planted all day. I love Tony Shaloub, but I originally missed this show. I’m catching up now.
My favorite scene was when
Stottlemeyer got the call from Mexico telling him Monk was dead. He goes on and on about how he wants a big fancy funeral for him and the governor should be there, etc. Then he says he not ashamed to admit that he loves that man (Monk). The phone rings again. Stottlemeyer learns Monk is NOT dead. Hangs up the phone. “I take it back. I HATE that man!”
I liked the scene from “Monk and The Sleeping Suspect” when he lost his hearing after the bomb went off.
“YEAH, I THINK HOWDY DOODY WAS A PUPPET. WHY WOULD HOWDY DOODY SEND SOMEONE A MAIL BOMB?”
And the bit at the end when his therapist was coming back from vacation and saw Monk on his front porch (straightening up, of course) and told the taxi driver to just keep on driving.
I agree the dude in a coma episode was really good, for a show that airs on the USA Network.
I’m still a bit peeved about the circus one because I figured it out as soon as they showed the chick in the cast.
Either way, I love Shalhoub and wish him continued success with Monk.
