I saw the show, and I get the impression the producers wanted the ladies to look like idiots.

The glass-breaking orgy, the lost diamond, the gas tank thing, having to cut the shit off the front of the car, etc. I have seen most of the other all guy shows, and while they get in shit too, the focus didn’t seem to be so much on them fucking up.

Not to mention the minutes spent on Jesse and that one gal sniping at each other. (Never seen that kind of one on one with Jesse and a dude on the show)

At least a two or three of the women had good experience wrenching and fabricating. I can’t see them saying “Duh, let’s just beat the fucking glass out, and BTW, let’s remove a full tank.”

I think they were encouraged to act stupid, and regretted it.
You may have noticed when they received the tools at the end, they didn’t act real triumphant, like they had second thoughts about how they acted (or were coached to act)

I believe it was pure bullshit solely for the segment of viewers who say “Well, let’s see how bad these stupid chicks fuck up.”

Which irritated the hell out of me.

I should have said some of the other shows had at least one female member, but that doesn’t detract from the tone of my post.

I’ve only had to break all the window glass in a car once. I’m not especially weak, even with my small size, but it can be pretty hard. However, when one is surrounded by tools, a woman can easily use machines to substitute for many shortcomings (in the same way that the shortcomings of men can be substituted for with machines… ). I got tired of whanging away at the first side window after the first swing, so I picked up an air chisel. BRRRRAP! Window gone. Repeat as needed.

I’ve got to agree with pretty much everything said. They have had great women on the show – remember the welder? But lately it seems they’re running out of ideas and Jesse is running out of enthusiasm. And does it seem like the last few episodes they’ve “arranged” things so the team “wins”? I think the guys who did the “losing” snowmobile got robbed, considering some of the teams that have “won”. Although I think the hearse guys were pretty lame by anyone’s standards …

Just my two cents – excuse me – my two fucking cents worth.
