Bumping this to see if we can get any last-minute votes.

Last day of voting.

Congratulations to @zimaane, who crushed it by receiving more than double the votes of any other entrant!

We await zimaane’s selection of our June 2025 topic.

mmm

I am beyond stunned that my photo won in May! I wouldn’t have put my own photo in the top fifty percent.

But the people have spoken and my choice for the June 2025 contest is Colors Note the plural.

Thanks to everyone who paricipated and to the organizers.

Splendid.

June thread is here.

mmm

I was in intensive care fighting for my life the last few days but FWIW I would have voted for that winning masterpiece too. Well done piece of work/art zimaane. :+1:

We’re glad you won your battle @MacDoc ! Heal well.

Thanks - I had no idea of the seriousness or extreme onset of sepsis. Very near miss - partner who is nurse recognised it right away and was in intensive care in 30 min but was still a near thing.
Despite being fine at 6 am Tuesday - I was in dire condition at 9am
I had no idea sepsis kills more that heart an stroke combined :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Ooh, yeah, sepsis is a Very Big Deal. Glad to hear that you got past it.

Thank you very much!

I’m glad you are recovering
