Monty, you can kindly and publicly apologize to me in here. It’s a safe space.

Except that running coach didn’t use quotation marks in his statement (remember quotation marks? You thought they were important earlier) - that was your addition, a deliberate misrepresentation on your part so that you could claim victory on the basis that Trump didn’t use those exact words. In fact running coach’s original paraphrase was entirely accurate in context; it’s you that’s persisting in this - what’s the term? - “intended deception” that it wasn’t.

But thank you for your ongoing demonstration of your dishonesty, liar.

Is the plan here to feed the troll so much, so fast that he actually explodes?

Or what?

Let’s just say that when you stand up to speak at a PTA meeting for the first time, prefacing your remarks with “you may think it but I am not a pedophile.” is unlikely to ease people minds.

Speaking of feeding: I’ve recently learned that pickled blueberries are a thing. I am intrigued. Anyone tried these? There are loads of online recipes.

Checkmate, liar.

They’d be great in a Shoolie Pie.

That would be a good outcome.

What’s a Shoolie Pie? Or did you mean Shoofly Pie?

I’m still waiting for the recipes. How (and why) does one make pickled blueberries?

Obtain blueberries.
Do whatever pickling is.

Does it involve a bottle of double chocolate vodka and a six-pack of Wild Cherry Pepsi?

Nobody is saying it doesn’t.

Hmmm. I’d try that without the Pepsi.

“Does anybody remember quotation marks” has to be the worst Led Zeppelin paraphrase ever!

Better with. It is called a “Chocolate Covered Cherry”.

I thought we were doing recipes riffing on “lie”.

You know: “liar cake”, “Bull-abaisse”, etc.

I’ll go. Don’t havta shove… :o

“You’re a liar”. “No u”. “No u” And then recipes. What fun we had.

No, we’re just having fun by mocking him. The fact that he thinks he’s winning makes it even more fun.

Here’s one. Apparently they go nicely with certain meats like duck or turkey, with the combination of sweet and salt and vinegar adding a strong accent. I’ve done grapes with a balsamic marinade with duck, so it’s probably similar to that.

Quicksilver: :smack: I thought you were proposing something bold there - pickled blueberries on shoofly pie. It’s just crazy enough to work…

Oh, man. I HATE fruit with meat.
