Morality Of Enjoying 'Baba Wawa'.

Why is this reminding me of the 2 female gossip columnists of Classical Hollywood who hated each other [and one IIRC had some sort of blackmail like hold on Hearst?]

Not that I’m defending Baba…uh, Barbara Walters (Baba Wawa is SO much easier to type!) but the whole thing with the ceramic cup? She’s right.

I’m not anywhere near that calibre and wasn’t as a journalist, and I needed a ceramic cup. Otherwise I would (a) knock the damn thing over, and (b) burn my mouth because I couldn’t tell by holding the cup how hot the liquid was.

If that makes you a princess, well, I’m a princess.

Gilda’s Baba Wawa thing was great. Comically, Gilda could do no wrong. If BW hadn’t been a big big star, it wouldn’t have been funny, or even recognizable.

Not to be too much of a troll, but using the term* ‘morality’ *in the context of poking fun at someone in broadcasting who literally talks like Elmer Fudd? No. Just, no.

Dried up old man here. Still waiting for someone to ruin my pathetic life.

I have a snippet of childhood memory of what must have been the first time the BW character appeared. She had a title under her as “Babwa Wawa.”
