More fun with cats

I saw a video a couple of days ago where this old Japanese guy walked up to his cat, lying on the ground. He lifted the cat under its front legs, and with it hanging there, he swung it around and threw it over his shoulder, like a shawl. The cat looked like it was used to it. So yesterday, I came out of the kitchen, and Moki was just lying there, so… I think she’s a bit heavier than the video cat. I swung her like a little sack of potatoes and onto my shoulder, then she just slid down into my arms, on her back. She liked it!

Depends on how they have been socialized, I guess. Ours don’t like being picked up at all.

But they will come and sit on us… when they feel like it…

I had a cat that loved to be carried around draped across my shoulders. He was a pretty cool dude. A couple times he decided he liked a visitor and jumped up on their shoulders. Hilarity ensued. Well, cries of anguish actually.

You would not come out with eyes left if you tried this with Bear the Siamese.
