More posts than member number?

Sorry, this thread was not meant to encourage post padding and, as far as I can tell, has not. Most members are either already on the list or way too far from being on it for any post padding to make a difference in the short term. However, if the PTB feel it’s inappropriate, they can lock it with no hard feelings on my part.

You get your name on a list. Very exciting, I’m sure.

Actually, you were already on the list, except I misspelled your username. See the second posting of the entire list in post #58.

Note: it’s unlikely I’ll post the list again in this thread.

No, here. How is this not post padding? The thing is Idle Thoughts, this isn’t about moderation. It’s a cry to the teeming millions to not DO THIS. It’s a thread thread that encourages posts over content.

I don’t recall if it is a squid or a goat…:dubious: Yes, I know squid definitely comes into it somewhere.

You’re now suspended. Next time listen to a mod when they say something and don’t purposefully break the rules or you may lose your posting privileges soon.

On further thought, I am going to warn for ignoring mod instructions after all.

With my member number being 291 (3/19/99) and this post being 730 (or thereabouts), and my Charter Membership long lapsed, I guess I qualify in the “Who and who cares?” category. That is a category, right?

I prefer to call it the “Guest List”, because I’m on it!

I’m surprised how low my member number is. IIRC, I came here in the Great AOL Migration.

:dubious:

He does however have a really great username. So there’s that. We just don’t get to see it displayed very often.

I post sometimes.

I think you forgot me!
