I’m checking one of my email addresses today and I get these two pieces.
Do spammers actually think people are going to open messages like this?
I found the second message to be especially humorous.

How about this soft sell email header:
I DEMAND YOUR URGENT RESPONSE AND CO-OPERATION.
from Oluyemi Adeniji, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Federal Republic of Nigeria, offering a 60%-40% split of $30 million.
I’d take him up on it but with the huge tax cuts I’ve gotten on my Social Security, I don’t need another $12 million.
Apparently, the fuckers do, or we wouldn’t be getting hammered with spam like that all the time.
Probably the weirdest piece of spam/scam was from someone who’d claimed to have bought an English football/soccer team and was “looking” for players, etc.
Tuckerfan, may I have your permission to quote you?
Yup.
Well, the second message has a ‘Re:’ in front of it, so it’s obviously a response to a message sent by YOU. So tell us, why the hell did YOU send that crazy message to poor Trisha in the first place??? HUH??? TELL ME NOW!!!

Mmmm? Oh, sorry, I was busy worrying about my streptococcus pack.
