More victimhood from Sarah Palin - this time involving "Family Guy."

Ya know, I had forgotten all about The Retarded Policeman. I wonder what Governor Quitter would think of this show?

I see no reason to assume she didn’t say it herself. Granted, someone may have reorganized it and probably proofread it, but she sounds about the same as she does in the New York Times interview.

How long before the right wing puts up their own retarded/Downs Syndrome spokesperson to offer the counterpoint of was too?

Oh, wait. Glenn Beck already has a show.

Stop right there.

You’re quoting Huffington and expecting to be taken seriously? Reading the Huffington Post causes brain cell death.

Do you have some sort of “Troll” greasemonkey script that has that automatically pastes that in? Did you accidentally key it in?

Is there something in the description (either in the link or somewhere in the thread) that is inaccurately spun?

Wait, maybe it’s simple. Could it be that you’re fucking retarded?

Naw, you’re just a half-baked loaf.

'Family Guy' Actress Responds To Sarah Palin's Criticism | HuffPost Latest News Here is the response from the actress that played the role of the downs syndrome girl on Family Guy. She has downs by the way.

That girl just did more for Downs syndrome sufferers than Sarah Palin has in her entire life.

Clearly he should have cited someone with no known biases, like the Washington Times.

Yes, the Huffington Post is an unapologetically liberal Web site. But I don’t see where they took her statement out of context, re-edited it or otherwise put words in her mouth.

Actually it was created as a counterbalance to "Drudge’. But Huffington does allow conservative voices. Both sites offer a lot of stories that are not political and have no slant. You can read Huffington and then read Drudge for an antidote.

I don’t know what she’s so mad about-it was a hilarious episode.

actually, it did make the point that people with downs syndrome aren’t really significantly different from the general population–they can be just as self-invovled and egocentric as the rest of us, for example. Not as touching as a ‘developmentively challenged persons like to laugh and hug just like us reg’lar folk’ episode would have been, and all the truer for it. I can’t think why a cartoon of a bratty daughter with an outlandish sense of entitlement would disturb her so…really, can’t imagine…

all eerily plausible.

andrea fay friedman is my hero.

Yeah, you should just copy and paste segments of text from it without attributing any of it, like ol’ Humpy.

That article by Friedman was pure win!
Man, I sure hope that the Republicans keep Palin on center stage for a few more months.
