I don’t know if this is the appropriate place, but since she’s an actress or media personality, I kinda figured this would be the place to start, at any rate…
I’ve been seeing the latest Old Navy commercials, where they’re playing “The Hustle” and all these folks are dancing and, well, she’s !!FREAKING HOT!! in that commercial! Now, her birthday is listed as Feb 3, 1950, which makes her 54 years old, but she doesn’t look a DAY over, say, 35. I realize makeup and lighting can do a lot, but taking 20 years off?? I just don’t know…is she just “well preserved” or has she had some work done? I’ve gotta know, 'cuz I feel just a tad icky, since I am only 34 myself and this woman is old enough to be my MOTHER…shiver
…so, anyone know for sure? And I mean FOR SURE, not speculation, as to whether she’s had work done? Would make me feel better to know she has, I think…
…and while we’re at it, what others are out there that seem similarly “well-preserved” to you other folks? Off the top of my head, Annette O’Toole is still looking pretty good at 52…
…man, there must be something wrong with me…
I wouldn’t hazard a guess as to the Work she’s had done (although I’ll vote breast augmentation), but a hairdresser I know who met her at a hair show a few years ago said she positively -reeked- of her full body makeup, and that up close it was a little scary. So some of it might be cosmetics instead of cosmetic surgery. Or in addition to.
There’s a woman at work who looks great for having 30-year old kids, but I have a deep suspicion of it. Being a guy, I’ll never get away with, “You look so great. Have you ever had any work done?”
Used to have a Morgan poster in my bedroom in the early 80’s.
Good times… good times…
Unrelated anedote about makeup and celebrities…
Saw the Kathy Griffin special recently and thought to myself that she was looking pretty darn good. Especially since I bumped into her in person in Aspen about 5 years ago and she looked like someone painted the crypt keeper with a roller brush of makeup.
Either she’s been doing some serious oxygen tent therapy or Bravo worked some magic with lighting and makeup.
There is also some sort of software that evens out the skin appearance on television. I recall hearing about this a few years ago (on TV no less) with a demonstration of the effects. For proof look at Barbara Walters, although I think they have to smear the camera lens with vaseline as well…
My search skills are serious lacking, so I don’t have a cite.
