Hey all. Sucked into… Er… Playing… Morrowind GOTY edition on the X-box, and I’ve been given a quest to find some trinket or other (ring of contageous charm, I think) on a frozen island. I’ve tromped all over that lord-forsaken place, and I can’t find the dang crash-site nor the cave I’m supposed to be searching for. Any help from those that have already done this?

it has been a while since i played morrowind(i had to force myself to stop due to schoolwork problems with the game) but i remember a cave that was slightly off shore to the north west. it was important but i dont recall why
Its been a while since I played Bloodmoon but I am pretty sure that its a bit north of the water stone, in a snow part of the map, its surrounded by a lot of these little hog riders. Solstheim is not that big in comparrison to vvardenfell, just sytematically search the areas north of the colony you help building for it.
Happened on the airship by accident both times I played, so I am not much help there. I belive it is just south of the Moestring mountains.
As for the cave do you mean "Hrothmond's Bane" where the airship quest sends you?
Look at you map of Solstheim, south of the frost giant's castle, and north of the Moestring Mountains is a formation that looks remarkably like a wolf. The cave is in his eye. Make sure you have the proper password before entering.
