Isabella Rossellini in “Cousins”
Mary Stuart Masterson in “Some Kind of Wonderful”
I can’t just pick one.

Michael Vartan as the cool, hot teacher in Never Been Kissed. Holy shitfuck, he was the most gorgeous piece of eye-candy I’d ever set my glazzies on when that movie came out (I was 15). I still think he was *made *for that role.
-
Patrick Wilson as Raoul in *The Phantom of the Opera. *Or Hard Candy. Or Little Children. In anything, really. I just love him as a person, and his singing voice, and his looks… le sigh.
-
Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow. He’s untamable, with sexy eyeliner and high-quality wordplay in one perfect package.
-
Strangely, Uma Thurman in both Kill Bills. Not that I find her physically attractive, because she is *so *not my type. Bug eyes and stringy hair and really weird toes? Normally I’d say no thanks. But she’s totally captivating because she’s just a great actress and the script was phenomenal. I find her almost criminally hideous, but even I almost believed she might be considered sexy to somebody else by the end of the movie. It was just written that well.

And, you’re going to laugh at me, but Janeane Garofalo in The Truth About Cats and Dogs. She was ridiculously endearing and cute, and her character felt very real.
I win.
Obligatory man-post. She got my “attention” in Mogambo IIRC – when she was wearing those pants, you could see her ass and her downtown and everything. Much more than in Rear Window or TCAT (although she was fine in the latter – swimming suits IIRC!!!). Best simmer down now, I need to wake up with a raging Gardner/Kelly dream going on.
The thread title made me think immediately of Salma. I agree on the Violente thoughts and I would add Monica Bellucci in Shoot 'Em Up (2007) to add to Elendil’s Heir’s mention of her persuasive looks.
Long time back I was overwhelmed by the way Ingrid Bergman lit up the screen in For Whom the Bell Tolls (1943) and I had pre-teen hots for Hedy Lamarr in everything I saw her in.
Meg Tilly in Agnes of God
nm
Shirley Maclaine in The Trouble With Harry. (This was before the crazy set in.)
Sophia Loren in that movie she was in.
Second but I would also suggest Catherine Zeta-Jones in The Mask of Zorro
Jenny Agutter in *An American Werewolf in London.
Greta Scacchi in The Coca-Cola Kid
Kathleen Turner in Body Heat
Oh, and Teri Garr as Inga in Young Frankenstein. Sexy and a nerd.
I’ve been trying to think of an answer for this, and while I know there’s a better answer I can’t think of, I’m going to go with Vanessa Hudgen’s character in the movie Bandslam.
schwing!
You know, I’ve watched this scene a million times and it’s only now, with your help, that I realize how the hotness is what puts it over the top for me.
You too??? I thought I was the only one! I’ve always had a thing for the tough girl/tomboy…on “The Facts of Life” my favorite was always Jo. I think it’s sort of like ‘she’s tough on the outside, but she’s got a soft side that only I can bring out of her’.
Anyway, MSM in “Some Kind of Wonderful” is definitely top 5 for me.
She’s beautiful in that!
My contribution to this is Sean Young, in Blade Runner.
