Most attractive movie character

Before her auto accident that ended production, Merle Oberon shot the scene in I Claudius where her Messalina first catches Charles Laughton’s eye. She walks away pretending not to notice he’s looking, with a brief look over her shoulder thinking “Got him.”

If I can add in a TV character, there’s Jack Gilford’s “Simon the Likeable” from Get Smart.

Some of my favorites:
Michelle Pheiffer in Scarface
Laura Harring in Mulholland Dr.
Nicole Kidman in To Die For
Catherine Zeta-Jones in Entrapment

“Hell yes!” to all those, except I’d take Pfeiffer in The Fabulous Baker Boys.

Can’t believe I forgot that one! Can’t believe I forgot how to spell her name!

Maureen O’Hara in The Quiet Man

Hugh Jackman in an otherwise hideous “Kate & Leopold”.
Both Michelle Yeoh and Chow Yun-Fat in “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”.
Cary Grant in “Notorious”.
Tilda Swinton in “I Am Love”.

Peg the Lhaso Apso (I think) from Lady And The Tramp.

(I can’t get YouTube on this machine, but if you go there and search for “He’s a Tramp” you’ll find umpteen clips of that scene – Including one of Peggy Lee recording it at Disney with some introduction and backround by Disney.)

Elizabeth Taylor in A Place in the Sun.

Montgomery Clift never knew what he was missing.

i like 'em young or at least young-looking

moira kelly in chaplin (also in the lion king)
jamie getz in less than zero
elizabeth taylor in faust
audrey hepburn in roman holiday
daphne zuniga in the fly 2
sharon stone at the interrogation chair
jodie foster in lambs 1

Rachel Ward in The Thorn Birds. Perfect.

Links, people, links!

I almost put Sharif on my list. I think I’ll have to watch LOA again and revel in the deliciousness.

Since I returned to add one to my list (knocking Yul down a notch), here ya go.
[ol]
[li]Peter O’Toole in Lawrence of Arabia[/li][li]Oded Fehr in The Mummy (and The Mummy Returns)[/li][li]Yul Brynner in The King and I[/li][li]Orlando Bloom as Legolas[/li][/ol]

Scarlett Johansson in “Lost in Translation”? Here you go.

Also, here’s one of Catherine Zeta-Jones in Intolerable Cruelty. Not in her undies, sadly.

Everything pales next to this: Rita Hayworth as the title character in “Gilda”

Scarlett’s a good choice in LIT and Scoop.

Ava Gardner in the 1946 version of The Killers – she just is a vamp, oozing sensuality. Her freckles are adorable, too.

Grace Kelly, in just about every movie she was ever in. But I particularly loved the wardrobe, backgrounds, and photography in To Catch a Thief. Cary Grant was at the top of his game in that one as well.

Andrew-Lee Potts in Alice. I’m now pro guy-liner.

Sean Faris in The Lost Valentine. Can’t find a good picture :frowning:

Paul Walker in lots of things, but especially Into The Blue.

And, while I’m not interested in women sexually, I’ve got to admit that Eva Green is totally captivating in Camelot, much the same way Audrey Hepburn is in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

I fell in love with the actress on these occasions:

Elizabeth Taylor in Giant
Madeleine Stowe in Last of the Mohicans
Melanie Griffith in Something Wild (OK, granted, she hasn’t aged so well, but in that movie…particularly with the brunette wig…)

Rosario Dawson in Clerks 2

I think the Fight scene between Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Xiyi in the dojo is better than most porn.

hotness

Sophia Loren, every movie she made in the 50s and 60s.
