She’s not even the most beautiful woman on her show. I figured I would be the only one to say it but I guess I’m not. Not to take anything away from her, Sophia Vergara is beautiful, funny and charming. I’m not worthy to wash her car. But I’ve had a crush on Julie Bowen from the second I saw her.
Cathy had a deadly fear of candles, forcing Natalie to use the one true way to tell her apart from Patty.
Couldn’t she just show Patty a hot dog?
I didn’t realize it when I made the link above, but she is the mother of Meredith Baxter. It turns out she also introduced us to the ultimate TV fantasy daughter for my generation: Barbara Cooper (Valerie Bertinelli) as the creator of One Day at a Time which is based upon her own life as a single mom.
As far as I am concerned, she was the most elegant, beautiful woman on television in her era and easily the best part of the show Hazel. She had no where nearly enough screen time to suit me. It seems the early sixties was the golden age for TV moms, and she could hold her own against the best of them!
Makes me think, how many of these TV moms could be neighbors? Several of their husbands worked in New York City; could Laura Petri and Samantha Stevens belong to the same book club? How about others from that era? Where did Donna Reed and Beaver’s mom raise their kids?
Doubtful. The Stevens’ lived in either Westport, Connecticut or Patterson, New York. The Petries lived In New Rochelle, New York.
If I’m going to bang a cartoon mom I’m taking Francine Smith!
Lorelai Gilmore.
I didn’t watch the show, and apparently she was a handful, but yowza, Lauren Graham is amazing.
Umm… Lena Headey.
Sorry.
And a mom, too. They started out with three kids, then they incorporated Courtney Thorne-Smith’s real-life pregnancy into the show, adding twin sons to the TV family.
Donna Stone, with Laura Petrie first runner up.

dropzone, I’m not sure if I should be disturbed with you or worried for you, but either way, that post isn’t appropriate. I think you have some issues that this board can’t help you with. Seek out someone who can.
^ This.
Mary Cooper. Both versions.
<sigh> Yet another “Hot women on television I’d like to pork” thread. Is June now “Fantasy Women Hookup Month”? I mean, it’s a step up from Rape Month but still getting kinda creepy.
But since I’m here…
You can have her. I’m going for Lana, even though it would put me in the…
…wait for it…
…danger zone.
Classic Gyrate!
Count another vote for Morticia Addams.
I keep forgetting she’s a mom! That said, there’s something about Mallory that intrigues me.
I’m surprised to see nary a vote for Elizabeth Montgomery.

She has many names.
I’d have to agree with Mary Tyler Moore and Sofia Vergara.
Let me add my nominee of Megyn Price.
I immediately thought of Elyse Keaton, too. Not sure if it’s because I grew up watching Family Ties or what. Merideth Baxter’s mom, Whitney Blake, is also beautiful.
I don’t think Steve and Elyse Keaton were mis-matched though. He was goofy and awkward like a dad but not necessarily a layabout or a dumbass.
