Most Beautiful TV Mom

Get your mind out of the gutter. The question was about “most beautiful”—nothing about “porking.”

As a side note I’d like to nominate Rita Moreno as the most beautiful older mom for her turn as Robert Gorens’ mom in Law and Order Criminal Intent. She has never lost her beauty.

Current? Claire Dunphy.

Of all time? Laura Petrie, of course.

Lois Griffin.

Hot, from a rich family and puts up with a lot of shit without complaining. Also has low standards in men. Me likey. Then again she is pretty unstable beneath the surface.

As far as real people, Julie bowen.

I’ve seen a fair amount of, uh, “evidence” that this is a thing, but I don’t get it. It’s a poorly detailed cartoon that doesn’t exactly exude overt sex appeal (unlike, say, Wonder Woman). Do the personality traits override that? I don’t watch the show.

I’m surprised there’s no love for Lauren Graham of “Gilmore Girls”.

Yes, I too have seen that ‘evidence’ you speak of. I typed the wrong thing into my google search bar when looking for prawns one day.

She doesn’t exude sex appeal. But being low maintenance and a slut in the bedroom are appealing traits. I’d take a less attractive woman who had that over a more attractive one who was high maintenance and a prude. Plus as I said, coming from a rich family is a nice bonus.

Tina Cole as Katie Douglas on “My Three Sons”
Barbara Feldon as Agent 99 on “Get Smart”

Here’s one I forgot because it wasn’t a lead role.

Christie Brinkley as Gayle Gergich on Parks and Recreation

I’d have to say . . . Ming-Na Wen.

Did Dagwood and Blondie have kids?

Claire Huxtable deserves some votes. She gets mine.

Please refer to post #47.

Elizabeth Montgomery (Samantha Stevens). I wanted to be her when I was a little girl.

The Stephenses.*

The working title on the pilot, BTW, was The Witch of Westport. Good thing they changed it!

*And Darrin was spelled with an “i.”

Ditto for both.

I’ll nominate quite an obscure choice. In the mid-'80s there was a show called The Charmings; Snow White and Prince Charming, rather than living happily ever after, were knocked out by a spell cast by her step-mother and awake in modern-day Los Angeles. The show only lasted two seasons, and the role of Snow was recast for the second, but the first-season Snow, Caitlin O’Heaney, was quite stunning.

This.

Yes! I remember being very disappointed when she was recast. (Is she also the woman from TAILS OF THE GOLDEN MONKEY?)

Yes!
