Most Despised Celebrity Who Still Has A Career?

Post 161 and nobody has mentioned Chevy Chase?!?

Google “chevy chase is a” and see what comes back.

I’m not sure Chase qualifies under the “still has a career” part.

Why are you going to war over this? You’ve received one official warning, and yes this is a continuation of threadshitting because you’re “just” pointing out that the topic is, in your opinion, ludicrous.

No more posts from you on this subject.

For the last four years, he’s been a regular cast member of a prime time network television sitcom. Community may be struggling, and is probably in it’s last season, but its not dead yet. It was on last night. And I liked it.

So he’s about to turn 70, he’s currently employed (and presumably well paid) in a prominent position in the same industry he’s worked in for the last several decades, and according to IMDB, he’s already working on his next two jobs. In any other industry, we’d call that a career.

:smack: For some reason, I always forget that he’s on that show.

He isn’t anymore, and he hated working on the show and found it ‘not funny’. Still despised even at 70.

Oh, Og forgive me.

Regarding the OP.
James Otto :):)
Please, the rest of you forgive me too.

I got no dog in this fight, but I am curious as to why we should put no stock in Mia’s word, but should put stock in the word for Frank Sinatra’s valet?

The only celeb I have heard of as being despised by pretty much everyone they have ever worked with is Chevy Chase.

I have it rumored of Val Kilmer, but have never seen it in a publication.

I’ll raise you a Jeremy Piven.

While it may be inappropriate in this thread, I think it’s a legitimate topic for discussion. So I started a new thread Should we care about celebrities?.

I think it’s weird that Tom Arnold has been working more or less steadily and Roseanne Barr hasn’t.

I’m not sure Kilmer is still working, since he puffed out like popcorn and started picking fights with tourists.

You really think there’s a direct correlation between high intelligence and emotional stability?

I suspect in her case it’s a matter of choice. She probably has enough money that she needn’t work again.

No, the whole mess came to light when Woody sued Mia for custody and held a press conference about it. Before that, Mia’s only request was that Woody not have unsupervised visitation with their children. They met with their attorneys to work the situation out in private. It was Woody who later dragged his three children’s lives into the public light and into court with no regard for how it would affect them. When the judge decided that Woody should only have visitation with his biological son, he said he would only accept unsupervised visitation with all three children.

Woody is the one who was screwing around, not Mia. Show me one bit of evidence that she ever cheated on Sinatra, Previn or Allen.

A book that was written over 50 years ago. Apparently Starving Artist doesn’t believe Mia has changed in fifty years, despite her adopting nine “unadoptable” children. And right–the young Mia “seduced” the older, richer, more famous, handsome and very street smart Sinatra.

So give us the a list of the facts, NOT opinions, on how Woody Allen was wronged. You have already given us two bits of “misinformation” (Woody didn’t meet Soon-Yi until she was an adult, and Mia brought the matter to light), so please check your facts out before posting.

And don’t forget Allen’s crack about “adoptive” children being different from “biological” children. I wonder how his two “adopted” daughters with Soon-Yi feel about that remark.

Well, if you look at her IMDB page, there aren’t really too many gaps in there. It’s just a lot of her stuff is just her being her on talk shows and reality dreck.
