Interesting factoid about Judge Kennesaw. He was named after the mountain range, but his name was spelled wrong by his father, and it stuck that way. His father (or grandfather) was a civil war veteran.
He was the first commissioner of baseball. He apparently was a really strict badass.
I love the name Kennesaw. Every now and then it pops into my head also. I would name my first kid Kennesaw, but I fear that his nickname would be “Kenny.”
