What is the most poitns scored in a single season by a division 1 college football team/ Beacsue teh Badgers have scored 121 points in 2 games so far. I assume thier acearge will go down, but I’m curious what the record is.

Total points record for a Division 1-A team is 624 by Nebraska in 1983 in 12 games.
The per game record is 56 by Army in 1944 (9 games)
The total game record could go up now since starting next year all teams will get to play at least 12 regular season games and bowl games are now included in records. They weren’t before.
